Granite questions
What are the granite levels?
Our granite colors are grouped in five levels, Level 1 to Level 5, and the level is what sets the price group of the stone. Ask us for the price of any color; the quote tells you exactly what your kitchen costs in it.
Polished, honed or leathered?
Polished is glossy and shows the color deepest. Honed is matte and smooth. Leathered keeps a soft texture you can feel. Some stones on this page come in more than one finish, like Jet Mist and Fantasy Brown.
Does granite need sealing?
Most granite is sealed after it is installed, and many stones benefit from a fresh coat every year or two. A simple test: if a drop of water darkens the stone after a few minutes, it is time to seal.
Can I pick the exact slab?
Yes. Natural stone changes from slab to slab, so come to the shop and choose the one you want for your kitchen.
